Nicole Richie will be back on TV soon. She just announced on her blog that she'll be creating a half-hour scripted comedy for ABC. Besides Simple Life, I know that she's done a ton of personal appearances, and has had guest star roles...but the big question is, can she act?

She blogged, "The story revolves around a young, modern and professional woman who must balance her business and family relationships. She must deal with, and navigate the many ideas of what a woman's role is: modern vs. traditional."
